The Therapeutica Sleeping Orthopedic Pillow was created by an ergonomic designer in collaboration with a doctor of chiropractic to help restore the neck’s natural curve. Its uniquely molded foam supports the neck’s contours and provides a firm, stable base whether you sleep on your back or your side. This design helps reduce headaches, muscle tension, neck and shoulder pain by keeping the cervical spine properly aligned throughout the night. It is commonly recommended for a range of neck and shoulder conditions.
This is a firm pillow. Because it offers corrective cervical support, it may take time for your body to adjust. Starting too aggressively may temporarily increase neck discomfort. For best results, gradually transition to this pillow—alternate between your current pillow and the Therapeutica Orthopedic Pillow until your body adapts.
When sleeping on your back, the wedge extension provides added support to the neck, shoulders, and upper spine. The firm cervical contour promotes proper posture, while the sculpted headrest gently cradles your head. Integrated airflow channels help keep you cool and maintain comfort through the night. Together, the cervical contour and headrest keep the head level, reducing sinus pressure and potentially minimizing snoring. The two side-sleeping areas also include airflow channels to prevent heat buildup, and the built-in jaw-relief channels reduce pressure on the jaw—helping ease discomfort in the jaw, neck, shoulders, and surrounding muscles.
The pillow is made of a durable, molded foam that is nontoxic, nonallergenic, and highly resilient—firm enough to provide lasting support yet soft to the touch. Unlike memory foam, this high-quality material maintains its shape for years of consistent use. Each pillow comes with a luxurious zip-open quilted cover that feels soft against the skin and is easy to remove for washing.
IMPORTANT: Proper sizing is essential for optimal comfort and correction. Please follow the measuring instructions before purchasing. Pillow size does not correspond to clothing size.
How to Measure:
Stand with arms relaxed at your sides and look straight ahead. Using a ruler, measure from the base of your neck to the outer tip of the bony prominence on your shoulder (greater tubercle). Do not include muscle mass beyond this point.
Note: If your measurement falls between sizes, or if you sleep on a soft mattress surface (such as memory foam or a pillow-top), choose the smaller size.
