Where Is Your Pain?
Find out how we can help with your pain.
What does an initial visit look like with PEAKiropractic?
We always aim to provide our patients with the most precise and effective treatment we can. In order to do that, on the initial visit we will go through a thorough consultation, examination, and then the 1st treatment.
A thorough consultation is where we get all the information about your complaints. That information allows us to formulate the appropriate examination to better identify the reason for your complaints. The detailed examinations consist of physical, orthopedic, and neurological tests. All the tests give us information about what is going on in the body and what treatment is required.
There are instances where additional testing may be necessary like imaging (x-rays or MRI) or blood work at which point we will refer you out to centers we partner for that.
When we are confident that we can help you, we explain what is going on, why you are experiencing the symptoms you are, and give you our recommendations for the treatment plan that will benefit you the most. We do not proceed to your 1st treatment unless you are completely satisfied with our reasoning and explanations, and agree to the recommended treatment.
What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a patient-centered and health-promoting health care profession that provides non-invasive treatment options. The hands-on approach focuses on the body’s joints, muscles, bones, and nervous system.
As chiropractors, we understand that our bodies are innately self-healing and self-sustaining. Our goal is always to remove interference that inhibits this innate ability and allow the body to do what’s right.
At PEAKiropractic, we have the clinical expertise to identify and correct the body’s restrictions that are holding you back from living the life you deserve. Our goal is not only to alleviate pain but improve your quality of life without medication or surgeries. By removing the interference within the body, we allow the body to function at its best capabilities and HEAL FROM THE INSIDE OUT.
Just like we put gas in our car before we run out, PEAKiropractic also promotes health in the absence of illness. The majority of our patients say that this is the best way to decrease injuries, improve their health and it helps them live a better life.

How did chiropractic get started?
The profession of chiropractic began in the late 1800s. The practice of spinal manipulation was first documented in 400 BC in ancient Greece. Hippocrates, also known as the father of western medicine, wrote a book on joints and noted “Look well to the spine for the cause of disease”.
The benefits of spinal manipulation were well evident to healers and physicians throughout history but were abandoned by western medicine as the results and patient improvements were believed to be “by luck”.

Why is chiropractic important?
Chiropractic is one of few healthcare professions that still utilize spinal manipulations.
That is the delivery of a force into the spine.
The chiropractic adjustment is a controlled and specifically directed force to correct for the restrictions in the spine. This is a non-invasive treatment that restores balance within the body’s systems. By doing so, not only do we improve symptoms but also promote health in our patients.
At PEAKiropractic, chiropractic adjustments are the main therapy we utilize. We correct joint restrictions in the spine and elsewhere, to reduce our patient’s pain, improve their quality of motion and life. With every patient, we check the body for restrictions on each visit and make sure to deliver a personalized treatment that will help our patient achieve their health goal.

Why do chiropractors focus on the spine?
It was first said by Hippocrates, “Look well to the spine for the cause of disease”.
The spine is very important for our structural stability as humans. Without it, our bodies would not hold form, and could not move. The spine is what connects the legs and head to the torso and allows the arms to move with confidence.
Maintaining a healthy spine, free of restrictions is fundamental to being healthy.
What will Chiropractic Help with?
As chiropractors, we remove the interference in the body and allow the proper flow of movement and information to take place. By doing so, our goal is to eliminate the restrictions and gain the appropriate range of motion back.
Our patients also experience a decrease in pain levels and improvements in their daily activities. A lot of the time, they report a change in energy levels after an adjustment, the sense of feeling lighter, and many more.
